The Great Rewarder

Dylan's Diaper Doozie has been a huge success! He has exceeded his $500 goal! He couldn't be more excited!

When Dylan met his first goal of $100, Bryan and I were so proud of him! Then he raised the goal to $500 and we were ecstatic that he decided to keep raising money. We really wanted to reward him for all of his hard work and his selfless attitude. Dylan has been hoping to go to Tweetsie Railroad for awhile, so we decided that if he was able to reach the $500 goal, we would take him to Tweetsie Railroad. It became apparent about two days ago that Dylan would indeed met the $500 goal. There was one tiny problem with that. We don't really have the extra money to go to Tweetsie Railroad. We have been struggling with how we would afford it.

Randomly, the next day, our friend Jordan called Bryan to ask if we would be interested in free Tweetsie Railroad tickets.  (WHAT!!???!! OF COURSE WE ARE!!) Jordan explained that he had been selected as the "Facebook Fan of the Day" for 107.5 KZL. Apparently this radio station picks a facebook fan each day and gives that person a prize. Jordan has been a fan of 107.5's facebook page for years and but hasn't been chosen until a couple of days ago. And his prize?? Free Tweetsie Railroad Tickets!!!! Coincidence? I don't think so!

Today I am thankful that God is not only the provider of all our needs but He is also the Great Rewarder! Its pretty common to consider our needs being met by our Lord but this is a little different. We didn't technically need the free tickets but The Great Rewarder allowed us to reward our son's servant heart. God laid the Tweetsie tickets in the lap of the same man who challenged Dylan to raise the goal to $500. Yes, Jordan is the same fella who will be wearing a diaper since Dylan reached $500! God is really in the details, isn't He?! I'm also grateful for our good friends, Jordan and Shanna Stowe. They have been so supportive of Dylan's Diaper Doozie! They will be here on Saturday for Dylan's Diaper Doozie Yard Sale and Lemonade Stand. And you guessed it, Jordan will be wearing an adult diaper! They also parted with their free Tweetsie Railroad tickets and gave them to our sweet little guy! They truly are wonderful friends! The Great Rewarder has definitely blessed our family by allowing us have the Stowes in our lives.
