"Princess Penny Fru Fru"

Today is my 33rd birthday! I've had such a good day! My boys greeted me early this morning with hugs and birthday wishes! We went to church and then came home to eat lunch, have cake, and open presents. You'll notice in the pictures below that I'm wearing a crown. That was made by my sweet Evan. As he handed it to me he said, "Here you go my dear" in his best English accent! I had to wear it because I was given the official title, "Princess Penny Fru Fru" this weekend. My fellas always make me feel special, but this birthday they wanted to treat me like a princess. They did a terrific job of it! We have celebrated all weekend long with a trip to Hanging Rock, a family birthday dinner at Hill Billy Hideaway, presents, cake, and cards. I got a brand new mixer to use when making cakes and my very own coloring book (of Bible Verses!) to color in when I color with my boys! Their gifts and cards and kisses and hugs were so thoughtful and precious to me! I also got to go get a pedicure this afternoon and then Bryan took me out for a birthday dinner, just the two of us! It's been a wonderful day!

Just call me "Princess Penny Fru Fru!"

Today I am grateful for another year of life. Some folks squawk at the thought of getting older but I welcome it with open arms. When I was 21, dreaming of the future, I could have never imagined all that God had in store. I would have never believed that I would be this happy at 33 years old, with three little boys, and amazing husband, in a beautiful home, staying home each day and homeschooling them but still helping financially because of KEEP Collective. I mean, this life is nothing like I thought I'd be living. I had different plans. But I wouldn't change a thing now. God has given me so much. He has poured out his blessings over me and my family. So, at 33 years old, dreaming of the future, I am excited. I know He has a plan and I can't wait to see what's in store.  I am also thankful for all these amazing boys to spoil me for my birthday! Being "Princess Penny Fru Fru" for the day was fabulous! I feel so loved and cared for!
