Today was National Talk Like a Pirate Day! Every year we dress up so that we can get free donuts from Krispy Kreme! This year, there was another special, free event going on to celebrate ....Pirate Day in the Park! We had a great time together walking around the park, watching all the pirates, bouncing in inflatables, painting, watching cannons being fired, taking a boat around the lake and riding a train. We also ran into our neighbors while at the event so the kids had a lot of fun together!

Today I am thankful for fun activities to do as a family! I love spending time with my boys, especially when we get to dress up like pirates and take a boat ride around the lake! We had a nice afternoon together! I am also thankful the amazing day we had to enjoy. It was pretty warm but still beautiful! While riding in the boat, I just looked around in amazement. God's creation is so pretty. The leaves are starting to change, just a little and the sky was so blue. I love opportunities to just relax and take it all in!
