This morning we went to Lazy 5 Ranch with our good friends Melissa and Shane. It was the perfect day to be outside riding a wagon and feeding the animals. It was so much fun to watch the boy's reactions as the animals came up to the wagon. It was early in the morning and the animals hadn't been fed yet so they were hungry! These lamas, camels, pigs, emu, water buffalo, elk, deer, giraffes and goats were not shy either! They slobbered all over our hands as we fed them. It was so much fun for all of us! There was also a really great petting zoo with birds, porcupines, donkeys, tortoises, kangaroos, and even a baby giraffe that we got to help bottle feed! The peacocks put on a show for us while we were walking around. They were gorgeous, a true testament to God's creativity!

Today I am thankful for beautiful weather, wonderful friends, and amazing animals. We had a great time feeding so many of God's creatures today. I think we all enjoyed it even if we did get slobber all over us! I loved watching the boys encounter these animals for the first time. Evan said, "look, look, look" at least 100 times! It really was the perfect day for the Lazy 5 Ranch!
