Boots on the Ground

On Monday I flew to Mississippi to meet a group of women with whom I share something in common with. I've only met one of them in person previously but because of the healing we've all recieved after abortion, God connected all of us in such a beautiful way. After spending Monday evening praying and worshipping, we marched together to the Pink House in Jacksonville, Mississippi on Tuesday morning. This is the nickname for Jacksonville's Women's Health Organization, which is the last abortion clinic in Mississippi. This is also the clinic that started the Dobbs v. Jackson case that could potentially bring an end to Roe v. Wade. It's our prayer that a decision regarding this case will be announced in the next couple of months. If Roe v. Wade is overturned, the Pink House will be shut down.
God has been giving me, and others, a vision of an army of post-abortive women rising up, to expose the truth about abortion and help women find healing and/or make a choice they won't regret. Being with this group of ladies, seeing this vision become a reality, was incredible.
While at the Pink House, we each shared our abortion stories. The clinic escorts were taken aback by our presence there. They had never experienced a group quite like ours. The escorts were biligerent and argumentative at first but as the morning went on, there was a definite shift in their attitudes and behavior. They eventually stopped being hateful and even conversed politely. The were obviously exhausted by the time we left. The truth they heard ruffled their feathers and was something they couldn't refute.
During our time on the sidewalk, FOUR women decided not to go through with their abortions! That means FOUR babies will live! One abortion worker also walked out of the clinic without giving her two-week notice! I've spent a lot of time on the sidewalk in the past; having that many babies saved and a worker quit does NOT happen in one day typically. In fact, sometimes weeks would go by without any babies being saved and in all my time on the sidewalk, I've never experienced a worker quitting.
Holy Spirit was moving in such a powerful way! In addition to all of us exposing the truth about abortion, God used each of us in different ways. Some to talk with clinic escorts, some to converse with workers, some to give information to women entering the clinic, and some to pray. I feel honored that God used me to give one our bags of information to a translator who was entering the building. I asked if he would give it to the woman he was translating for and he agreed. When he left, I asked if he had given it to her and he said he did. Our pro-life, pro-love literature is inside that horrible place! I pray that whoever needs it, finds it!
This vision of a post-abortive army rising has been on many of our hearts for a while. To see it happening is amazing! We were "boots on the ground" in the enemy's camp and God did amazing things through our obedience to go!
In Jesus' Name, our post-abortive army will continue to grow, the truth will about abortion will continue to be exposed, and abortion clinics will come crashing down.
