Something Excited is Happening!

Bryan and I have known we would eventually need to buy a different house for our family. We've outgrown our current home and the stairs are really hard for me because of Ankylosing Spondylitis. However, we had no idea now was the time.

Last week a listing popped up on my computer screen, (seems like a coincidence, right?) I checked it out and showed it to Bryan because it seemed perfect for our family. We decided to go see it but realized it was actually under contract already (houses fly off the market these days!) Looking at that house got us in touch with a great realtor. This past Friday (June 4th) we were notified that a lovely brick house went up for sale. Our realtor got us a time to see it on Saturday evening (the first appointment available because SO many people are house-hunting right now). We saw it that evening, fell in love with it, and placed an offer yesterday. The market right now is so competive, one of my friends placed offers on several houses before finally getting an offer accepted. So, we weren't sure if ours would be accepted but we felt led to give it a shot.

Today, we went under contract on this gorgeous home!!! It's perfect for us. All of our kids will have their own rooms. There is a completed basement for our school room and a game room---the basement has a kitchen in it too! There is a bedroom on all three floors so if I just can't physically do the stairs on my bad days, I don't have to. The master closet is huge!!! The bathrooms are beautiful! There is a screened in porch and a little garden. There is a pool in the backyard and an awesome playground set up for the kids. The yard is larger than our current yard and there is a creek for the kids to play in. The kitchen is incredible!!! There is so much potential with the yard (Bryan transformed our current yard so I can't wait to see what he does with this one!) Plus, its still in High Point, so we're staying close to family and friends!
We weren't even looking. It was all God. He said it was time and even though it feels risky and overwhelming, we said ok! It is so exciting to see what He has in store for us!!! When we are willing....God does the rest!
Today I am so very thankful for God's continuous provision, guidance, and favor on our family. He is so, so good!
