A Weekend Away!

Bryan and I got back today from an amazing weekend away at a beautiful Bed & Breakfast in Tennessee.  It was so nice to have time alone, to talk and enjoy one another. We got to sleep until 9am every morning, eat at places other than Chick-fil-a and McDonald's, go zip lining, enjoy a romantic cruise, have a candle-light dessert, watch movies that didn't involve cartoon characters, do some shopping at our own pace, and just do whatever we wanted to do together without being interrupted or distracted. It isn't often that we get this type of quality time together since we have 4 kids. this weekend was truly wonderful.

Our Romantic Cruise was cold but lovely
Playing 7D games without any kids....Bryan won, surprised?

We enjoyed our candle light dessert! Check out the view behind us.

(This was actually a picture we sent to our kids! Haha!)

Today I am grateful for such a special time away with my love. We enjoyed every minute of it! We got to do so many fun things and just be together. It was a wonderful weekend! I am also thankful for my mom and Bryan's mom for watching our sweet little ones while we were away. The kids had a great time with their grandparents. It makes it so much easier to enjoy time away when we know our kids are well taken care of. I am so grateful for that!!

As much as we loved spending time away, it was so good to see our kiddos this afternoon! We missed them so much! What a sweet gift God has given us...precious children to come home to that make our life so special!
